Not Me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

It is NOT ME who usually runs out to her car in her nightgown (in 20 and 30 degree weather mind you) to start the car so it can warm up. I ALWAYS dress properly and always wear shoes outside when the sidewalk is freezing and it's 14 degrees outside. I would never risk getting sick to make sure my vehicle is warm for me and my child. Nope, not me.

It's also not me who fibbed to her husband. A few days ago he called me from work to ask me what I was doing. I fibbed and said "Folding clothes" because I didn't want to tell him I was actually sitting on the computer blaring music from YouTube and wasting time doing NOTHING. To cancel out the fib i told my hubby, i then folded lots of the laundry and even cleaned the kitchen too. I would NEVER fib to my spouse because i'm too lazy to tell him that i'm REALLY just sitting on my tailbone. Nope, not me.

Sundays

Last summer, I decided I wanted to paint the bathroom in our hallway a deep red.

Today, I decided I hated the color. So I taped the place up and worked on the trim. I unscrewed wall plates and towel racks, etc and climbed up on the counters. My arms and shoulders are so sore right now.

We were at Subway for lunch earlier today and DS passed gas and said excuse me. I statred giggling at him pooting and then he kept saying "I pooted Mama, i pooted!" I kept trying to hide my face so he wouldn't see me laughing, but I could hear him. I had tears rolling down my face because he kept shouting about him pooting while we were trying to hush him. Good things Subway wasn't very crowded. Only my child.

I have an eye appointment coming up Wednesday and i'm going to talk to them about Lasik. I know it's expensive but as much money as i spend and have spend in contacts and supplies over the past 13 years, i could more than pay for the surgery. I can't STAND having my eyes dilated. It always gives me a headache because i have to leave my contacts out and sit in a room for 20 minutes while the drops work.
